Larry Hawkins, PT, CAE graduated from Maryville College in 1985 with a degree in Physical Therapy. He started his career at a local Alton hospital as a staff physical therapist. He joined a St. Louis private practice in 1987 and was promoted to General Manager of the company in 1992.  In 1995, Larry joined together with three other therapists and opened up an industrial rehabilitation clinic in Alton where he stayed as Managing Partner until 2000. During that time in 1997, another company, Gateway Rehabilitation was started where he continues to be the owner. Larry focuses his practice on pre-surgical orthopedic injuries and post-op rehabilitation. He has a special interest in ergonomic intervention with local industry and is a Certified Associate Ergonomist.
